Position Summary

The Zoetis Lincoln Manufacturing Site is actively seeking a dedicated Change Control Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting the dynamic processes related to both new and changes in materials and suppliers. As a key member of the team, the Change Control Coordinator will collaborate closely with Procurement Category Leaders for Raw Materials, Packaging, and Single Use Technology to streamline and manage change processes effectively.

Position Responsibilities

Material Evaluation Committee (MEC) Leadership

  • Spearhead four Material Evaluation Committee meetings, driving cross-functional collaboration among team members.
  • Ensure meetings are well-organized, productive, and aligned with the objectives of the committee.
  • Take charge of agenda setting, ensuring that key topics are addressed, and discussions are focused based off project timelines.
  • Ensure active participation from all committee members, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages valuable contributions from diverse perspectives.
  • Manage actions resulting from MEC meetings, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of tasks and escalation where necessary.

Supplier & Material Change Control

  • Create and Manage Change Controls for Supplier Change Notifications and Quarterly records with guidance from Category sourcing leads.
  • Utilize the Trackwise system (ETS) to create and manage change control records efficiently.
  • Ensure tracking and documentation, guaranteeing compliance with project timelines.
  • Ensure alignment with the defined scope by the Material Evaluation Committee (MEC).
  • Initiate and coordinate the request for qualification samples from suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with action owners across various functional areas to facilitate effective change control implementation and timely completion of change control records.
  • Foster collaboration and communication to ensure a cohesive approach to change management.
  • Works with supplier base and internal colleagues to resolve issues related to the change control evaluation and approval process.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related business/technical field. 1-3 years' experience in supporting a professional procurement department will be considered in lieu of degree; or direct experience in manufacturing and packaging operations in a GMP environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong facilitation skills when needed for business issues.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience in ERP or Purchase to Pay system, SAP and Ariba knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure. Shows attention to detail. Excellent Data Entry skills.
  • Knowledge of Zoetis Manufacturing and Packaging Operations a plus
  • Experience with Change Control systems and processes a plus

Technical Skills and Competencies Required

  • Refers to internal colleagues or policies and practices for guidance.
  • Operates within established Procurement policies.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision when required.
  • Follows established procedures.
  • Recommends actions.
  • Technical Writing Skills a plus
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy, and accuracy.

Physical Position Requirement

  • Position is mostly office work, (remote and in person) with filing and other light activities, as necessary.
  • This position requires sitting, standing, and walking with occasional work outside of normal work schedule to meet critical deadlines.
  • Must wear appropriate gowning and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in manufacturing/production areas.
  • The work conditions for the position are greater than 50% stationary with periodic standing and walking throughout the workday.
