We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive our business growth in Des Moines, IA, or Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in developing and executing business strategies by working with existing independent Authorized Wick Buildings and recruiting new builders throughout the territory.
If you are ready to take on the challenge of achieving consistent sales goals and traveling to builder meetings, trade shows, and job sites, this is the opportunity for you. You will work with a team of experts to drive innovation, and communication, and resolve challenges while building strong relationships with builders and internal staff. This is a well-established top-tier company that is growing through market penetration and geographic expansion, and you will be covering an existing and productive territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business partners who meet the criteria set by Wick.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders and internal staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity.
- Establish accurate sales projections.
- Work with builders to develop effective marketing and business plans by leveraging tools and resources offered by Wick.
Requirements:
- Experience in business development or related field in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing business strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to master and teach internal software.
- Excellent driving record and ability to travel overnight throughout the territory.
