PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and leadership of the Operations Manager, responsible for off loading railcars and transports, product handling and blending, bulk finished product loading, bulk production, raw material inventory control and equipment maintenance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows printed blend sheets and utilizes LBS to blend finished products.

Assists Production Manager with assigned product ordering and inventory control as may be required. Also assists with the daily preparation and production planning based on orders received.

Ensures all GROWMARK quality control standards and procedures are followed.

Responsible for placement, loading and unloading of bulk products.

Determines the need for overtime and coordinates this with the Plant Manager.

Attends all required meetings and training programs.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for maintaining the assigned equipment and area in accordance to company standards, adheres to the company Uniform Policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image.

Adheres to company environmental health and safety policies and training.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma.

Normally requires an understanding of material handling and blending plus experience to demonstrate the ability to provide leadership for department.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use the computer to enhance business processes along with basic math skills.

Ability to work hours other than those considered normal to meet seasonal demands.

The ability to frequently lift up to 60 lbs.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
