Nuclear Operations and Communications Analyst

As a Nuclear Operations and Communications Analyst, you'll bring your operational, tactical, and technical expertise to work on projects. You'll develop and support various aspects of the client's effort and its transition to operational use. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with operation and maintenance of systems
  • 5+ years of experience with nuclear command and control, and associated communications and computer systems, including MILSTAR, SACCS, DSCS, GBS, MUOS, AEHF, NAOC, ABNCP, or MCCC
  • Knowledge of network and server management processes, including account management, backup and restore, resource allocation, and system troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of performing NC2 operations and analytical support as part of a crisis action team or battle staff
  • Ability to provide technical advice for operations, and day-to-day functional support of the client's reporting system
  • Ability to support verification and validation through evaluation of proposed or actual OPLAN changes that may negatively impact application performance and result in the potential degradation of operational forces
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supporting the government during NPES operational activities for Technical Performance Evaluations (TPE), Staff Assistance Visits (SAV), Integrated Mission Area Training (IMAT), and communications
  • Ability to perform system and requirements analysis supporting the client's operational community, including analysis of impacts on and from integrated external systems
  • Bachelor's degree

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
