We are looking for a mission driven Senior Accountant II to join our team! As part of the finance department, this role maintains an organization-wide perspective. The SRII responsibilities support effective financial reporting and organizational performance. This role also works with focus to include the maintenance of an effective compliance program to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
This is a full-time position located on our main campus (30th & L). The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, or business with emphasis in finance/accounting, is required. CPA preferred.
2. Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting experience required with the ability to clearly understand and apply general accounting principles to projects and tasks.
3. Must be self-motivated and detail-orientated with demonstrated strong analytical skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, required.
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
6. Prior experience using Oracle Net Suites is preferred.
